Bunny Ranch (Subic) Update
Paul, the owner, has been out of town, and hasn’t been “hands on” for a while since the bar opened. A few people contacted him and let him know about the DLD and EWR prices, and he absolutely condemned that practice. He stated unequivocally that DLDs and high EWR prices are NOT the policy of the bar, and there were a few girls pulling scams.
He talked to the mama san, manager and the general manager, and has told them this “&^%$#” can not continue.
The official policy at Bunny Ranch is 150 peso ladies drinks, no Double Ladies Drinks and a p1,500 EWR, right in line with the rest of Subic and Barrio Barretto prices.
I’m personally very happy to hear this. I’ve stated many times that Subic needs more quality bars, and that competition is good for the entire area. I’m happy to see that Bunny Ranch is turning out to be one of those quality bars.
The problem stemmed from bringing in girls from Angeles City. Girls that have worked in places where this kind of pricing scheme is official policy. I guess you can take the girl out of Angeles, but can’t take Angeles out of the girl.
It also sounds like the management needs to get stronger controls in place so girls can’t pull these scams. Of course, keep in mind that this is a brand new bar with all new staff, so things will take a while to “shake out”, so to speak. It’s inevitable that a few people will try to work the system.
Looks like those people have been caught, the problem has been corrected, and it’s time to party, party, party at Bunny Ranch in Subic! I’ll be going back for sure, and would love to see you there.

Hi Butiki, and thanks for asking here! The bar is in the front of the building, just after walking in on the right. The apartments are in the back, viewing the bay. I wouldn’t imagine there would be any excessive noise. They completely rebuilt the club, and it looked to have really thick walls. I remember walking up to the front door on opening night, and didn’t hear much music or shouting until the door opened.
